A deep dive into the world of ads in N.Rich
Ads in N.Rich are organised into Campaigns. The target of these ads are accounts imported into Segments. In theory, there is no limit to the number of ads you can create within a single campaign - however, in order to be effective, ads require budget and spreading a campaign's budget across too many ads will diminish the impact of the whole campaign. How many ads should a campaign have depends on both your marketing strategy and budgets you have at your disposal.
How N.Rich serves ads is covered well within the intro into programmatic advertising here. To oversimplify - your ads in N.Rich will only be served to the accounts in the segments targeted by your campaigns (and not to a demographic that looks like the accounts in your segments) and placed automatically across a vast web of websites the people in these segments frequent. When placing ads, we rely on two major, proprietary methods:
The N.Rich DSP (Demand-Side Platform) powering the Article and Video ad types.
Connected to all major ad networks including OpenX, Pubmatic, Rubicon, Google Display Network and many other, our DSP ensures your ads are positioned on the websites your buyers frequent.
The N.Rich bridge to Google Ads, powering the Cross-channel and Image display ad types.
Before we dive deeper, a slight digression on Google Ads - we do not support connecting your own Google Ad account - with every N.Rich account, a corresponding, programatic Google Ads account is generated automatically to which neither the end-user nor N.Rich staff have access to. All supported underlying analytics and stats are extracted into N.Rich analytics. Most of our clients run their own Google Ads and we encourage them to continue doing so - considering the target scope of N.Rich is impossible to recreate in Google Analytics natively, your own ads in Google Ads will in no way be competing with your N.Rich ads. In case you have protected your trademarks in Google ads, you will need to extend those protections to N.Rich as described here.
N.Rich supports four types of advertisements:
Article ads
Video ads
Cross-channel ads
Image display ads
