      N.Rich Website Tag Installation (Cookieless Mode)

      N.Rich utilizes a tag/pixel to gather data on your website visitors, enabling various capabilities such as deanonymizing visitors, offering website analytics, and revealing first-party intent at the account level.

      About our Website Tag in Cookieless Mode

      Customers can make the most out of the N.Rich platform and a streamlined tag installation process by installing the N.Rich website tag in Cookieless Mode. In Cookieless Mode, the tag does not generate any cookies and will skip all third-party syncs, which means that it can be safely triggered regardless of user consent and your consent management/consent initialization practices. In essence, the tag working in Cookieless Mode is a privacy-compliant way tracking of website behavior, even when cookie consent has not been provided.

      ℹ️ If you already received a website tag (html script) from the N.Rich team to implement on your website, you can skip Steps 1 & 2.

      Step 1: Locating your Website Tag

      To locate your N.Rich Website Tag, click on Settings in the N.Rich control panel and navigate to the Website Tag section. You will see your N.Rich Website Tag script. You can copy or export the tag for the next steps.

      Step 2: Setting your Website Tag to Cookieless Mode

      Once you have your tag script, you need to edit part of it so that the tag works in Cookieless Mode. The cookieless variable in the script needs to be set to true.

      The part of the script to be edited is highlighted below:

      The cookieless variable needs to be set to true as follows:

      Step 3: Installing the N.Rich Website Tag

      The N.Rich Website Tag is a JavaScript code snippet that should be implemented in the footer of your website, just above the closing </body> tag. The code snippet has been specially designed to load asynchronously and independently, so it will never block or slow down page load. 

      We recommend installing the tag using a tag manager, like Google Tag Manager or Adobe Tag Manager and it is strongly recommended to set the priority of the Tag as high as possible and set its sequence to loading first or as early as possible.

      If you are using a custom CMS or are unsure about how you can install the website tag, contact your developer, site admin or web team.

      ℹ️ Tag Coverage/Firing Rules
            The N.Rich Website Tag (Cookieless Mode) should be installed and fired on all of your web          pages including product pages, landing pages, sub-pages/subdomains to capture as much          data as possible about the accounts visiting your website and their journey.

      Step 4: Verifying the Tag Installation

      Confirm that the tag is collecting data properly by reviewing the tag status and tracked visitors in the Website Tag Statistics in your Account Settings. The tag status under Cookieless Mode should be active.

       

      ℹ️ Tag activity might take up to 24 hours before appearing on the statistics.
